Our eco-friendly EWALL system offers high-performance noise absorption on both sides. Installation is seamless: all components are assembled entirely without bolting or welding. This pure interlocking design ensures exceptional durability. For maximum longevity, every steel component is fully hot-dip galvanized to guarantee permanent corrosion protection.

CONSTRUCTION PROCESS:
1. Foundation – Gravel Base Layer:
The system utilizes a shallow foundation design, eliminating the need for complex and costly deep foundations. To support climate protection efforts, we prioritize the use of regional recycled materials. The gravel base layer is constructed in compacted layers directly on the existing subsoil. Its installed thickness is determined by the terrain level following topsoil removal and specific structural requirements.
2. Steel Structure:
This exceptionally dimensionally stable noise barrier features A-shaped support frames equipped with base plates. These frames are constructed from thin-walled tubes with integrated welded tension elements connecting the opposing sides. Steel mesh panels are mounted on the exterior of the frames and lined with a durable, multi-layer, high-UV-stability geotextile. The EWALL system represents a steel construction that is both efficient and highly stable. Special attention is paid to the top edge design: the geotextile is stretched continuously over a round steel bar, ensuring a clean, uniform finish along the entire length of the wall.
3. Core Filling:
He earthen core is filled from above using grab excavators or similar conveying equipment to deposit the soil into the cavity. No mechanical compaction of the material within the wall structure is necessary. To optimize climate impact, carbon footprint, and resource consumption, we prioritize the use of locally sourced fill material. Such soil is frequently generated during preliminary site development work, allowing for cost-neutral disposal by incorporating it directly into the system.
4. Vegetation:
Planting is carried out on both sides at the base of the wall using site-appropriate climbing plants, allowing for rapid greening of the structure within just a few growing seasons. The wall crown is seeded with a mixture of grasses and wild herbs; alternatively, pre-cultivated vegetation mats can be installed. Apart from initial irrigation to establish growth, no permanent watering is generally required. However, for particularly exposed locations, a climate-friendly and cost-effective irrigation system can be integrated. Plant selection is tailored to the specific location, soil conditions, and wall orientation, taking into account local factors such as solar exposure, heat and frost cycles, and dry periods.
